Well, this amazing styled shoot from Kreatid Photography and Design focuses strictly on the maids - about time right?! For this styled session, my dream was to produce a session that was exclusively for bridesmaids. When it comes to choosing the attire of many a bridesmaid, too often I’ve heard statements like: “Oh, you could totally (emphasis on the ‘totally’) wear that again!” and “If you just shortened it, it could be a ‘cocktail dress’!” This session is hopefully inspiration to brides who are choosing attire for their maids…showing them a more non-traditional approach to picking their “ladies in waiting” attire. :) Vintage hues of yellow set in an outdoor nature setting were the original inspiration for these maids…mixing in floral headdresses, brilliant white pomaders, shortened vintage cocktail dresses + coordinating authentic vintage jewelry added to the modern vintage spin for today’s bridesmaids. Whereas adding touches of vintage mason jars, an antique velvet couch, vintage reading material and vintage fabric draping added to the vintage flavor of this session.

I am obsessed with BHLDN, from the fashion and accessories to amazing decor and prop pieces... I cannot get enough! So naturally when I set eyes on this gorgeous Baie De Beauport, Quebec wedding from Juno Photo that features one of my all time favorite BHLDN dresses, I just had to share! Sigh!

Red, White & Blue Travel Inspired Elopement Shoot

Happy 4th of July, Vintage Lovers! To help celebrate, I have a beautiful vintage red, white and blue travel inspired elopement shoot to share! Talk about some seriously swoon-worthy inspiration!

 

From photographer, Catie Ronquillo: We used vintage suitcases, books, and a gold frame to stylize the setting. The cake table featured five separate cakes, each with its own design, but still cohesive with the theme. Florals included great pops of red with anemones. Guests received a "wedding passport" save the date tucked inside a hand-lined snap close envelope and a boarding pass wedding invitation with a red airmail envelope. The travel inspired wedding showcased individual menus wrapped around each napkin, airmail escort cards pinned to a vintage map, and kraft notebook favors accented with custom "Bon Voyage" stickers.

Strawberry Fields Forever Inspired Engagement

How sweet is this North Carolina engagement from Simple Love Photography?! The inspiration for the shoot was based off of the Beatles classic, Strawberry Fields Forever. Hello - talk about an awesome idea for an e-session! And it gets better, from the sweet vintage strawberry and milk glass details to the beautiful couple radiating all things love - I just cannot get enough!
