I love, love, love everything about this Santa Rosa Beach, Florida wedding held at the stunning venue, Bentley's on the Bay. Photographer Dede Edwards did a fabulous job of capturing the oh-so-pretty neutral color palette and rustic details. The burlap, cotton, and driftwood mix... can you say picture perfect?!

Minnesota Lodge Wedding
No matter how much I deny it, I am a true Minnesota girl that loves the great outdoors. Some of my fondest childhood memories were made "Up North" at the lake! So when I came across this gorgeous Minnesotan wedding from Emily Steffen Photography, I couldn't help but take a trip down memory lane while also soaking in some fantastic rustic inspiration!
Burlap, birch bark, and pine cone details easily create the events rustic charm. I am also seriously loving the blueberry infused cocktails and wedding favors, a delicious and adorable idea!

DIY Burlap Banner
I absolutely adore when brides incorporate banners into their engagement pictures and/or wedding. So of course for my recent E-session I couldn't resist getting a little crafty and making my own DIY banner;
What you will need:
Step 1: Create a flag stencil with a marker and straight-edge.
Step 2: Using the flag stencil and marker, outline the stencil onto the burlap.
Step 4: Once triangles have been outlined, use a sharp scissors to cut out the triangle shapes.
Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4 on the lace fabric. However, be sure to create a smaller sized flag stencil for this fabric.
Step 6: Use a hot-glue gun to apply small lace triangles to the larger burlap triangles.
TIP: Use small bead sized amounts of the hot-glue to fasten the fabric.
Step 7: Once hot-glue has dried, turn the triangles face down. Then glue a string of the twine to the back of the flags.
Step 8: Use stencil letters to trace out a desired saying onto the colored fabric.
Saying ideas: "Save The Date", "Just Married", "Mr. & Mrs.", "Newly Weds", "Thank-You", "Hitched", "Here Comes The Bride", your names, your wedding date, etc..
Step 9: Cut out letters and hot-glue them onto the flag banner.
Step 10: Let dry and ENJOY!

Potato Sack Decor

Over the Labor Day weekend I managed to squeeze in some quality "picking" time at my favorite flea market with my Mom, and like usual we did not leave empty handed! One of my favorite finds was an assortment of potato sacks. Not only are potato sacks perfectly rustic-chic but SUPER budget friendly. My head is spinning with fun thoughts of how to incorporate them into my big day.
Here are some of my ideas:

Country-Chic Tablescape
Okay, I am seriously gushing over these country-chic tablescapes. So much inspiration from these 2 pics, my brain is in wedding bliss overload! I mean get a load of these design elements that together create country-chic perfection! Oh and did I mention this look can be easily recreated, hello budget-savvy DIY!
Here we go: Apple-filled glass domes... easy! Potted herbs... inexpensive floral alternative, check! Homemade desserts... grab a cute apron, Mom, enjoy! Mason jar drinking glasses (FAVORITE), can you say discount store trip? Burlap table runner and napkins, inexpensive and fabulous! Blackboard charger plates (obsessing over this), make friends with chalkboard spray paint! Hay bale dessert table, how awesome right?! Baby tree wrapped in burlap and tied with chalk, a functionally sweet and green favor!
Sigh, see what I mean?! Talk about inspirational!
