Red, White & Blue Travel Inspired Elopement Shoot

Happy 4th of July, Vintage Lovers! To help celebrate, I have a beautiful vintage red, white and blue travel inspired elopement shoot to share! Talk about some seriously swoon-worthy inspiration!

From photographer, Catie Ronquillo: We used vintage suitcases, books, and a gold frame to stylize the setting. The cake table featured five separate cakes, each with its own design, but still cohesive with the theme. Florals included great pops of red with anemones. Guests received a "wedding passport" save the date tucked inside a hand-lined snap close envelope and a boarding pass wedding invitation with a red airmail envelope. The travel inspired wedding showcased individual menus wrapped around each napkin, airmail escort cards pinned to a vintage map, and kraft notebook favors accented with custom "Bon Voyage" stickers.

A big thanks to Catie Ronquillo Photography for sharing! Have a fun and safe 4th!

I've said it before and I will say it again, with the craziness of wedding planning some days a sweet, intimate elopement sounds pretty darn perfect! This road trip inspired elopement shoot from Chloe Photography confirms this day dream of mine. A mix of fun travel details, a romantic picnic lunch, some great fashion and of course lots of love - it is hard not to swoon!

Sweet Picnic Elopement Inspiration

From a picnic brimming with vintage details to the romantic background story, this elopement inspiration sent over from Don't FRETT Photography couldn't be sweeter!

Shawnea Frett Ajao of Don't FRETT Photography; "I imagine this couple met in grade school, sharing their first kiss in a neighborhood park over peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Years later and so in love, it didn't seem out of character that the two would want to have that same kind of intimate wedding. Delicate hues of creams and pinks with slight touches of vintage point to a simply styled elopement photo shoot! By giving the couple center stage we were able to bring subtle touches of their fun, playful, sweet and innocent childhood romance into focus, which includes peanut butter and jelly, fruits, scrabble, and their favorite yummy desserts at their park picnic elopement reception."

Vintage 1970's Elopement

Let's face it, planning a wedding can be stressful and I will be the first to admit a simple elopement with just my honey and I has crossed my mind! After catching glimpse of this beyond gorgeous vintage 1970's inspired elopement from Megan W Photography, I am seriously taking this option into consideration (well maybe). I am positive you will be thinking the same thing after you check out the stunning wardrobe, pretty paper DIYs, and did I mention undeniable romance?!
