Timeless Love - A Notebook Inspired Engagement Shoot

With the Notebook being one of my all time favorite movies, I cannot help but to swoon over these high school sweethearts photographed by the talented Jennifer Lucia of Close to Home Photography. Replicating the timeless movie in a quaint vintage Texas town, this pre-WWII inspired engagement session really is the definition of "timeless love"!

Strawberry Fields Forever Inspired Engagement

How sweet is this North Carolina engagement from Simple Love Photography?! The inspiration for the shoot was based off of the Beatles classic, Strawberry Fields Forever. Hello - talk about an awesome idea for an e-session! And it gets better, from the sweet vintage strawberry and milk glass details to the beautiful couple radiating all things love - I just cannot get enough!

Living is easy with eyes closed
Misunderstanding all you see

{Real Wedding} Jennifer + Martin

I just love when couple's incorporate unique character and history into the big day - Married in backyard gardens that the bride's grandparents planted years ago, this happy couple went above and beyond making their wedding truly their own! The ceremony was held in the gardens surrounded by rhododendron bushes with a seriously swoon-worthy alter that was built by the couple themselves. The reception was held in a different part of the gardens and saw several highlights that included a visit from an ice cream truck and even a game of kickball!

When it comes to weddings, we all know that the brides fashion typically takes center stage - but what about the guys?! For my wedding, I am thinking something a little non-traditional ... groomsmen in plaid! Whether a simple touch seen in a bow tie and tie or all out plaid shirts, let's just say I am head over heels for the look! A more recent trend seen within the wedding world, not only is the look perfect for the laid back groom but it also adds an undeniable southern charm that I love!  Naturally I couldn't resist sharing some of my favorite plaid looks that have me inspired;

A Retro Bridal Shower Inspiration

I am all about bridal shower inspiration at the moment - this is most likely attributed to the fact that I am currently in the midst of telling my beautiful sister/maid of honor to get a move on with planning mine! And with all these quirky details and retro charm I wouldn't mind having this retro pool party inspired shower as my own. Talk about fun!
